It’s not easy being a bumble bee, being so fluffy with such tiny wings. Harvesting nectar and pollen is hard work and sometimes we need to catch a snooze between blossoms.

This sweet illustration is a mixed media piece. I layered watercolor on a graphite sketch. I then finalized the painting with vibrant gouache.
