Autumn is a beautiful season of change and abundance. The squirrels are diligent but someone seriously needs to take care of all the acorns raining down!

This autumn fairy is a mixed media painting. As shown below, I first made a graphite sketch of the composition and blocked in colors with watercolor. Next, I painted with gouache. I was having trouble keeping the vibrancy I desired with gouache so I scanned the painting and completed it digitally in Procreate.
